Springfield Vermont is one of those Vermont towns that seems to have it all. An active downtown with restaurant and shops, golfing at the Crown Point Country Club, hiking through the Springweather Nature area, and countless recreations to be had on and along the Connecticut River, which runs through the town. The whole of Main Street is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and overlooks the Black River. The North Springfield Lake/Stoughton Pond area has swimming, boating, and fishing for the whole family, and the area also boasts spectacular real estate by way of summer cottages, lakefront and waterfront homes and properties, and primary residences and rental opportunities of all kinds. Springfield Vermont real estate has easy access to Vermont skiing. Some of the best Vermont ski resorts are an hour or less away, including Killington Resort, Pico Ski Resort, Okemo Mountain Resort, Ascutney Mountain Resort, Bromley Mountain Resort, Suicide Six Ski Area, Stratton Mountain Ski Resort, and Magic Mountain Ski Resort.
