The Southern Vermont town of Shaftsbury sits in the southwest corner of the state, on the New York border and north of Bennington. Historic RT 7A passes through the town, as does The White Creek. Lake Shaftsbury and Lake Paran sit at either end of the town, so residents never have to travel far to enjoy a swim or to spend the day fishing or paddling in a canoe.
