The town of Ripton Vermont can be found by traveling east from Middlebury along RT 125. A scenic, elevated land, Ripton is home to the Bread Loaf, location of the famous Bread Loaf Writer’s Conference held during the summer. Robert Frost was once a resident of the town, and numerous walking paths have been established in the poet’s honor. Nearby Lake Pleiad provides swimming opportunities to locals, and hiking trails abound in this Green Mountain town. Lake Dunmore is a short drive away, and Middlebury College’s 18-hole golf course beckons those who dare. For skiing convenience, the Middlebury Snow Ball is just a 5 minute drive up the road. Ripton Vermont real estate is under an hour away from Killington Resort and Pico Ski Resort.
