Karen comes from Stamford CT. where she was a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker. For 6 years and earned her Multi Million Dollar Sales designation, Previews Property Specialist and Relocation Specialist certifications. She and her family were active members of the Stamford Yacht Club racing their sailboat before moving to Vermont full time in 2006. Karen has a degree in Mechanical Design Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology and Business and Accounting from Norwalk Community College. Karen and her husband Jared, a woodworker, built their home in Cavendish after spending 15 years visiting as often as possible. They are both avid snowmobilers and hikers and enjoy the serenity and beauty of Vermont . Their daughter Courtney stayed in CT to finish school at Manhattanville College.
