Plymouth Vermont is located east of Rutland, and north of Ludlow along RT 100. The town has its own ski country club, Bear Creek, which is a little more insulated from out-of-state tourism that the better-known and nearby Killington Resort, Pico Ski Area, and Okemo Mountain Resort. Mount Tom and Saltash Mountain overlook the town and provide outdoor stomping grounds for residents and great views from the primary residence, vacation homes, and rental properties that make up the Plymouth Vermont real estate market. The Black River and Queechy River run through the town, and a number of ponds scattered through the area offer fishing opportunities.
