Site of the only Revolutionary War battle to take place in Vermont, Hubbardton Vermont retains the air of a town steeped in history. Annual commemoration for the event occurs in July at the Battlefield Site on Monument Hill Road in town, with a full authentic reenactment. The town of Hubbardton sits on the northern end of Lake Bomoseen, a popular destination for lake activities like swimming, canoeing, and boating. Lake Beebe is also found in the town of Hubbardton, Vermont. Lakefront homes, properties, cottages, and rentals can be found on and around Lake Beebe.
