The Saxton River rambles through the downtown, spanned by many a bridge, including two historic covered bridges, the Kidder Hill and MacMillan. The local Windham Foundation is a non profit organization devoted to the continued restoration of the town’s historic buildings and sites, and plays a large role in the economic vitality of this picturesque Vermont town.
