Goshen Vermont is a town in Addison County, and is sometimes confused with Goshen village, which is located in the town of Newbury. Planted in the Moosalamoo Region of the state, Goshen is home to Romance Mountain, part of the Green Mountain National Forest. The area has no shortage of hiking, hunting, fishing, swimming, and other outdoor activity opportunities. The local Nordic Ski Center offers over 75 km of cross-country ski trails, with grooming. Nearby towns of Middlebury and Brandon offer a little more breath of civilization to those who need it from time to time.
